⚡ Heat from Light: EM → Thermal Coupling
A minimal demonstration of electromagnetic energy converting into heat. A Gaussian EM wave deposits energy (∝ E²) into a temperature field that diffuses over time.

Metrics
- Experiment: EM → Thermal Coupling
- Note: EM power heats the medium; heat diffuses over time
- Controls: A, f, absorption, diffusivity
How to read it
Blue lines are the EM wave. The heatmap accumulates where intensity is high (∝ E²). Increasing absorption raises temperature faster; diffusion spreads heat.
CPU (JavaScript) - Authentic LFM
32³ lattice, Klein-Gordon equation @ 15fps
ℹ️
Running Authentic LFM at Lower Resolution
You're running the same Klein-Gordon equation as GPU mode, just on a 32³ lattice instead of 64³. Physics is authentic - only resolution and speed are reduced.
For higher resolution and 60fps, use Chrome 113+ or Edge 113+ with a compatible GPU.
